A high-energy, family-friendly holiday rock concert experience inspired by the iconic Trans-Siberian Orchestra — blending classical music, electric guitar, powerful vocals, dramatic narration, and breathtaking visuals.

🎸 Think: Holiday classics with a rock twist
🎤 Think: Live narration & choir harmonies
🌟 Think: Broadway meets rock concert — with kids center stage joined by professional musicians and performers.

📍 All rehearsals and performances held at the stunning EVENT CENTER at Historic Beermann Plaza in downtown Lincoln — featuring professional lighting, sound, and an unforgettable Grand Ballroom experience.

🎶 VOCALISTS (Christmas Choir, ages 6–17):

10-15 VOCALISTS NEEDED
Perform one 32-bar (1-minute) cut from:
• “All I Want for Christmas Is You” – Mariah Carey
• “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” – Brenda Lee
• “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” – Michael Bublé or The Carpenters

🎬 ACTORS (Ages 6–17):

8 UNIQUE ROLES TO CHOOSE FROM
Choose one 30-second monologue (provided at audition sign up) from our list and audition for featured roles including:
• Ella – The sarcastic smarty older sister

Age Range: 13–17

Ella is the overachieving middle child with a book in one hand and a sarcastic remark in the other. She’s brilliant, bossy (in the most entertaining way), and constantly stuck between her ultra-responsible older sister Gracie and imaginative younger sister Abby.

Though she tries to be the voice of reason, her intelligence often spins into over-explaining, “fun facts no one asked for,” and witty one-liners that make the audience laugh and roll their eyes. Underneath the sass, Ella has a heart of gold and ultimately helps bring her sisters together when it counts most.

Character Traits:

• Smart: Always has an answer… even if it’s not the right time to share it.
• Funny: Dry humor, unexpected timing, and a surprisingly strong sense of irony for her age.
• Relatable: Embodies the classic “middle child” energy—underappreciated but unforgettable.
• Caring: Though she hides it under sarcasm, she fiercely loves her sisters.

• Abby – The whimsical, wild-hearted youngest sister

Abby is the youngest of the trio—and she knows it. She’s a whirlwind of imagination, silliness, curiosity, and spontaneous brilliance. Whether she’s wearing a cape made of wrapping paper or staging an impromptu “reindeer audition” in the living room, Abby brings joy and chaos wherever she goes.

She often says the unexpected (and strangely insightful), leaving her older sisters—Gracie and Ella —alternating between laughter and mild panic. Abby may seem scattered, but she has a childlike wisdom and emotional openness that ends up grounding the family in magical ways.

Character Traits

• Imaginative: Sees wonder in everything—turns ordinary moments into grand adventures.
• Spontaneous: Doesn’t think before she acts—but somehow always lands on her feet.
• Silly & Playful: Loves making others laugh, whether intentionally or not.
• Sensitive & Sweet: Her pure heart often reveals the emotional core of the story.
• Curious: Never afraid to ask any question that pops into her mind

• 3 Unique Shepherds – From gentle helper to brave guide

Shepherd 1: The Humble Helper

Age Range: 6–9
Personality & Motivation: A gentle, unassuming helper—smiling, eager to assist and friendly toward the flock and fellow characters.
Key Traits:

• Humble & Obedient: Responds readily to instructions— “Yes, sir!” or “I can help!”
• Kind & Attentive: Notices if a lamb wanders off-at least tries their best- or a friend needs help

Sheperd 2 The Observant One

Age Range: 8–12
Personality & Motivation: Observant and thoughtful, this shepherd notices changes in the night—and wonders if something extraordinary is happening.
Key Traits:

• Watchful & Vigilant: Keeps an eye on the flock and the sky.
• Curious & Reflective: Pauses to ponder before acting, then steps forward with heartfelt conviction once the angel arrives.
• Faithful & Devoted: Acts with purpose and respect.

Shepherd 3: The Brave Guide

Age Range: 10–12
Personality & Motivation: A courageous older child comfortable outdoors, protective of the flock, and the first to act when the angel appears—leading others toward truth.
Key Traits:

• Rugged & Responsible: Moves with confidence; stands firm.
• Courageous & Direct: Faces the unknown.
• Honest & Compassionate: May have seen hard nights but still leads with optimism and strength.

• 3 Wise Men – Funny, friendly, and wise!

Wise Man 1: The Fancy One

Age Range: 8–12
Personality: Royal, proud, loves big words and sparkly things
Description:
Melchior wears the shiniest robe and always tries to sound very important. He loves treasure and talks about gold a lot. He’s dramatic but kind, and he really wants to meet the new king.

Wise Man 2: The Friendly One

Age Range: 7–11
Personality: Kind, chatty, always smiling
Description:
Caspar is the heart of the group. He loves talking to people and animals and is the most excited to meet baby Jesus. He brings frankincense and explains it with pride.

Wise Man 3: The Smart One

Age Range: 8–12
Personality: Wise, calm, always thinking
Description:
Balthazar is the most serious and thoughtful of the three. He studies stars and maps, and he brought myrrh as his gift. He often helps keep the other two on track.
